Spring/Fall Leaf Removal Service

Leaves left to pile up can suffocate grass, increase the risk of snow mold during the late winter/early spring, and even spread fungal diseases from diseased leaves. Our leaf removal service eliminates these issues by clearing your property of excessive leaves and debris.
If you’d prefer an eco-friendly option, mulching (chopping up a portion of the leaves and spreading them over your lawn) for small amounts of leaves is available. Mulched leaves can provide valuable nutrients to your lawn, promoting healthy growth in the spring. For large amounts, we’ll always finish by mulching what we don’t pick up back into your lawn.

Leaf Removal Package
If you know that all your leaves don’t fall until more into the winter months and you want to start spring fresh, you should opt for our Leaf Removal Package.
We’ll visit three times, the first to get the initial leaves that have fallen sometime in late November. Then in December or January we’ll return to get the leaves that waited to fall until after we left the first time. Finally, we’ll return late February or March to get rid of any leaves leftover from the winter (or your neighborhood). We check the nooks and crannies around your home where leaves like to pile up and hopefully help you have less in your garage, deck, and porches, too.

When you finally get around to getting fall and winter lawn care done like leaf clean-ups, pruning, and cutbacks, it’s usually at the last minute.

Here’s what you’ll get:
a leaf clean-up sometime between November and December protect your grass and prep your yard for winter.
DT Team comes back to do winter pruning, cutbacks, and low tree trimming while also getting the extra leaves that fell after our first visit between December and January.
Sometime between late February and March we’ll come back a 3rd time for a spring clean-up so everything looks fresh and ready for the warm-up to come.

Keeping it trim throughout the mowing season adds to your curb appeal; pruning when the season calls for it (depending on the type you have) allows for more light and adequate airflow to help their durability and reduce their risk of disease. The DT Team uses professional equipment to maintain the proper size and shape as well as containing any overgrowth. Bush and shrub trimming and pruning services start at $100.
